One of the most common questions I get from companies starting out with social media marketing is “How much time will it take?” The 2010 Social Media Marketing Industry Report, which I blogged about last month, offers some benchmarks.
For companies just beginning in social media, the median time was one hour per week. For those that have used social media for more than a few months, the median jumps to 10 hours per week.
